Large, sunny bedroom overlooking the garden available in a cozy shared house close to Eglinton subway station.

I am looking for someone to sublet my room from February to June while I am away doing research. It may be possible to extend and be... added to the main lease from the beginning of July. The move-in date is flexible. No guarantor required, but we've had a bad experience with someone dropping out at the last minute so would like to have first and last month's rent upfront.

Your wonderful roommates will be two graduate students at UofT (cis man and cis woman) who spend some days doing research and teaching on campus and some days working from home. The house is pretty social, evenings are often spent sharing dinner, watching a film together, or playing boardgames and guests are very welcome. Ideally looking for someone about the same stage of life who is thoughtful about their impact on shared spaces and the environment, responsible, friendly, and reasonably tidy. You will also be sharing the house with a very sweet and cuddly black cat (see if you can spot her in the photo of the living room!)

The room is furnished with a queen size bed, desk & chair, chest of drawers, nightstand, and a built-in closet. Bedding can be provided if needed. It faces south onto the back garden so is very quiet with hardly any street noise and gets lots of sunlight. The rest of the house consists of a kitchen, dining room, and living room on the first floor and three bedrooms and fourth small room on the second floor as well as the bathroom. There is central heating and a/c and the bedroom also has a ceiling fan.
