I am a very active 75 year who once taught at OISE/UofT and York . I'm retired and looking for someone to rent a basement apartment. It's 1 large room with a bed, night-table, desk, dresser/wall-unit, closet, and a comfy chair. In the room there's a... magnetic hot-plate for cooking as well as a microwave oven and toaster oven. There's a TV on the wall unit. The room comes with plates and cooking utensils.
I am happy to share some of my space on the 1st floor with a tenant and best of all you have full use of the beautiful backyard space.
It's a 5 minute walk to TTC and you can get to either U of T or York directly by subway. You can also walk to U of T in less than 30 minutes, bike ride in 10.
