It is the second bedroom in my 2-bedroom condo. There is a queen-sized pull-out couch, with IKEA-style slats, not bars. I have a mattress topper, but will buy another if needed. There is an ottoman with extra storage. There is a dresser for clothing... storage, and a portable clothing rack. A desk sits under a bright, north-facing window, with a desk lamp and Dhurrie carpet on the floor. There is a book shelf as well. There could be room for a single bed if you have one. The bathroom available to you has a toilet, sink and large shower. I have a very well-equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, and a wonderful, large balcony, with a table and three chairs and a chaise longue. The building is a 15 min walk to U of T, 10 minutes to Spadina subway, 15 minute walk to George Brown Casa Loma campus. The building is quite small, but has an elevator. I am looking for someone mature, responsible about keeping things clean (including the kitchen) and reasonably quiet, who doesn't mind a dog. I am retired, and reasonably busy. Because I don't have a TV, you'd either have to have your own or use streaming services. Internet is included.
